"The Marsh Institute collaborates to equip, support, and advocate for chaplains in diverse and global settings, enhancing chaplains’ competency and effectiveness. We affirm that a chaplain’s work should be anchored in the sacred calling to care for and serve individuals from all walks of life. God’s unconditional love informs our belief that chaplains and their ministries should be characterized by mutual respect, dignity, and compassion for everyone. Therefore, we support chaplains from all backgrounds, recognizing our global community’s diversity of cultures, convictions, and experiences."
