Chaplain Resource Network

A collaborative initiative providing high-quality, practical training content and tools to help institutions, organizations, and denominations equip chaplains for real-world ministry.

About CRN

What is the Chaplain Resource Network?

The Chaplain Resource Network (CRN) is a collaborative initiative of faith-based organizations working to provide scalable, high-quality training content for chaplains worldwide.

CRN develops and distributes modular, field-ready resources designed to support chaplain formation, education, and professional practice across diverse settings — from public safety and crisis response to community, institutional, and pastoral care.

The Problem We're Solving

Why CRN Exists

Chaplains are often called into moments of crisis, grief, trauma, transition, and moral complexity. Yet many organizations seeking to build chaplaincy programs face the same challenge: developing consistent, credible, and practical training materials requires time, funding, and specialized expertise.

CRN was created to meet that need — so a chaplain in the field is never alone, and an institution building a chaplaincy program never has to start from scratch.

Modular by design

Resources are built for use in certificate programs, continuing education, online courses, workshops, institutional training, and degree pathways.

Adaptable to your mission

Each organization uses CRN resources in line with its own mission, identity, and standards — with clear licensing and attribution.

Academically rigorous

Materials are outcomes-based, standards-aligned, and ready for real-world chaplaincy practice across diverse and global settings.

Built for scale

CRN is designed to distribute content across formats, channels, and languages — reaching chaplains wherever they serve.
